I advise patients to go through the leaflet created by the British Association of Spine Surgeon which has standardised information about different spinal conditions. I will be very happy to answer during clinical consultation if you need any further information or clarification.

Each patient has a unique set of problems and during the consultation, I will go through history, clinical examination, and appropriate radiological investigation and after careful consideration devise an individual treatment plan. BASS leaflet are however great source of information, particularly with regards to risks and benefits of spinal surgical intervention.
